A claim should be filed when:

  • you suspect a leak from your tanks or piping
  • know you had a leak or spill of 25 gallons or more
  • are planning to remove one or more underground tank
  • have the soil or water on your property tested and learn that you have reportable levels of petroleum contamination
  • you receive notice from another person, alleging contamination or damages from your tank system
 
 


Prompt notice is important in order to protect your interests. Please call the Fund Administrator at (800) 765-2765 or write the fund at PO Box 104116, Jefferson City, MO 65110 as soon as you are aware of the claim, even if you do not believe cleanup costs will exceed the deductible.
