The PSTIF Board held the required public hearing on March 14, 2012; see video here.
At its meeting in September 2012, the Board voted to proceed with plans to create a training program.
A regulation has been drafted; informal comments are welcome any time and may be sent to pstif@sprintmail.com. The regulation, or a similar version, will be formally proposed in the Missouri Register in 2013, at which time a formal comment period will be announced.
The U.S. EPA has issued guidelines that specify how states must implement their Operator Training program.
